So this is the movie that brought Japanese Animation to the main stream. I guess the viewing audience saw something that I missed. I didn't really care for this movie from a writing aspect. I don't have a problem with the animation but the story just was not something that I cared for. Maybe some important details didn't transfer well to the English language. The only people that will really like this are people that like Japanese animation and most likely they have already watched this. If you are curious about Japanese animation this is the place to start but please be sure to check out other Japanese Animation as I don't personally think this is the best it has to offer. Overall I wouldn't waste your time on it.
