Of Note: In the Las Vegas bar scene where Austin flashes the peace sign and is laughed at, Mike Myers originally wanted Austin to be drinking a Zima to show Powers desperately trying to be cool and failing. (In the movie he is drinking a Tab cola.) The Zima company was keen on the idea until they realized they were being mocked and quickly pulled out.

When this movie came out all I ever heard about was how good it was, everybody walking around was quoting it. I was just sick of hearing all the hype on how funny it was. So I finally watched it and of course after that much hype I was disappointed. The best part of the movie is Elizabth Hurley, she is smashing baby. The comedy was not all that funny to me and was rather dumb. I did think the denial of owning a penis pump was rather funny. Overall I don't think this movie is all that funny and only watched it a second time so I had a good feel for the movie to do this review. In the end I wasted another 90 minutes on this film. If for some reason you have not watched this film, please buy it used or rent it.
