This is a supernatural thriller that takes place on a boat that went missing 40 years prior to the salvage crew finding it. This does make for a very creepy setting for a supernatural thriller movie. As far as being original I can't say that it is all that original. The story is very similar to the Shinning by Steven King. The crew is trapped on a ship, one of them gets molested by a corpse, a food pantry, and there is a creepy kid. If I didn't know better I would have just thought I was describing The Shinning but with the story taking place on a boat. There is a fine line to paying homage and using old material with a twist. I don't find the movie all that scary more creepy than scary. Overall I did enjoy watching this movie. It is not a great movie and it is far from original but it still was entertaining.
