Urban Legend

This is kind of a surprise for me. The premise is that some murders are being conducted on a college campus. About the same time that an anniversary of a mass murder had happened on campus. The neat thing is that all the murders seem to be related to urban legends. Just so happens that the alternative psych teach is teaching about urban legends at the same time. I do like how this works and how the urban legends are worked into the murders. There are a few that seem a little hokey. Speaking of hokey there are a few characters that are that and more. Though it is r rated and listed as a horror movie it also a who done it. Who is behind the murders and who is next. The acting is ok as a lot of the actors are people who have gone on to do some pretty good stuff. Overall I do like this movie. I like how it progresses, how it has some horror elements but that they do not dominate the story. It goes to show that a horror movie can have a story and even a little suspense without resorting to over the top gore. Though it does have its share of moments that make you jump a little. If you have not seen this one you should give it a watch but remember that it does have some age on it so that can factor into its appeal as well.
