Trivia

While filming a scene where Selene and Michael look at each other longingly, director Len Wiseman surprised the cast and crew by playing Bryan Adams' song "Everything I Do, I Do It For You", at which everyone started laughing.

The little girl that plays young Selene is Lily Mo Sheen, the daughter of Kate Beckinsale and Michael Sheen.

Goofs

Near the end of the movie, when Selene blows a hole in the ceiling of the cave, some of the rocks that fall down float after splashing into the water.

When Michael is at the restaurant and is being chased by the police, he jumps onto a police car and leaves a rather large dent. A moment later when he runs into the woods, there is a shot of the car and the dent is gone.

Continuity: During the fight on the truck, the vehicle is severely damaged, most notably on the passenger side when Marcus is crushed between it and the cliff face. Upon arriving at the warehouse, however, there is almost no damage whatsoever.

When the helicopter has crashed in the final showdown, Selene's hair is sucked towards the rotors. It should have been blown away considering normal physics.

When Selene and Michael enter the bunker early on in the film, she tells him that lycans change back into human form when they die. However, none of the lycans who die in this film ever do. We even see the Cleaners hauling away lycan bodies.

When the 'gas grenade' is used for the first time in the safe house, it pops open, sprays the gas, then the two electrical rods pop out and spark causing the explosion. However, when Alexander Corvinus uses the grenade to kill himself later in the film, the rods pop up before the gas is released, then they spark to cause the explosion.
